Dal Shabet, originally formed by six members, debuted in January 2011 under Happy Face Entertainment. Being produced by E-Tribe, the producers of such hit songs as SNSD‘s “Gee” and Lee Hyori‘s “U-Go-Girl”, the group gained a lot of attention.
After a while they established a stable fandom (Darlings) and fame, and became especially popular for their tracks including, “Supa Dupa Diva,” “B.B.B,” “Someone Like U,” “Joker” and more.
After their last reunion in 2019, Dal Shabet, unfortunately, continues their hiatus to date. Despite the success, Dal Shabet failed to endure the “7-Year Curse,” and, as a result, the members one by one left the company. From 2012 until 2018 they undergo a lot of member reorganization but later they became inactive after the last release in 2019. But where are the Dal Shabet members now?
- Viki
Viki, also known as Baek Da Eun was the original member and leader of Dal Shabet, not until she left the group in 2012.
She then continued her solo career both as a musician and actress, making her debut in an R-rated film, “A Pharisee,” in 2014. She later on signed with MBK Entertainment but left to continue her career independently.
In 2022, she is not only an independent artist but also a k-pop dance teacher.
- Serri
Park Miyeon, also well-known as Serri, became the main leader after Viki left as well as the main rapper when Jiyul and Gaeun left.
Before contract expiration with Happy Entertainment in 2017, Serri and Wohee joined “The Unit” but unfortunately she was stayed out of the final lineup.
Currently, she’s a recording artist under DREAM Entertainment. She also had a YouTube channel, “Serri Day.”
She’s still a member of Dal Shabet.
- Ayoung
As Serri, Ayoung is still a member of Dal Shabet despite hiatus and leaving the agency in 2017.
After leaving the agency, she continued her acting career under SidusHQ. Ayoung played at, “Someday,” SBS’s “Our Gap Soon,” etc.
- Jiyul
In 2015, Jiyul withdrawn from Dal Shabet but in 2019, she rejoined the group to commemorate their 8th anniversary.
After leaving the group, she transferred to Jellyfish Entertainment but shortly after, she terminated her contract with the company.
In 2022, Jiyul is an independent artist and although she’s not that active in the entertainment sphere anymore, she sometimes communicates with fans on SNS.
- Woohee
After Viki left in 2012, Woohee became the leader of the group alongside being the main dancer.
During the Dal Shabet break, Woohee debuted in 2017 in Uni.T, winning a seventh place in KBS reality show, “The Unit: Idol Rebooting Project.”
After her debut in Uni.T, she left Happy Entertainment but affirmed that she’s still a member of Dal Shabet.
Now, she promotes as an actress and singer under NEVER DIE Entertainment.
- Kaeun
In 2015, Kaeun decided to part ways with the group alongside Jiyul. In 2019, she reunited with the group to commemorate 8th anniversary.
When she left the K-pop scene, Kaeun continue her modeling career and want to become a designer. Currently, she’s married to her long-time partner since 2018.
- Subin
The main vocalist, visual and maknae Subin is still a member of Dal Shabet. Among members, Subin gained her popularity as a model and the girl who had a cameo in BIGBANG Taeyang‘s “I Need a Girl.”
Before contract termination with Happy Entertainment in 2017, she debuted as a solo artist in 2016.
In 2018, she signed with KeyEast Entertainment to continue her career but terminated contract after a few months.
Since 2020, she’s promoting as a singer under her own agency, Dalsooobin Company. She appeared in music programs, “Voice Trot” and “Miss Back” in the same year.
