“NewJeans’ Success Story”: Min Heejin’s Name Appears on Billboard Homepage

Min Heejin, CEO of ADOR, the agency behind the group NewJeans, has been featured on the U.S. Billboard website.

On the 23rd (local time), Min Heejin was selected as one of the “2023 Billboard WOMEN IN MUSIC” on the official website of Billboard in the United States.

Billboard said, “With ‘Ditto,’ NUJINS reached No. 8 on the Billboard Global 200. It is accelerating its expansion into the global music market,” praising Ms. Min’s management of the company.

Min was named to the Billboard Women in Music list, which recognizes female artists, producers, creators, and executives who have made their mark on the music industry over the past year.

In addition to her role as executive producer of the new girl group NewJeans, which debuted in July 2022, Min also served as the head of the agency.

In particular, Min produced the entire debut project, from music to album, choreography, and music videos.

Heejin Min’s intuition in reading the public’s tastes and trends was not wrong. NewJeans‘ debut album “New Jeans” and single “OMG” sold more than 1 million copies each. They have also achieved record-breaking results, such as maintaining the top spot on Korean music sites and entering the Billboard Hot 100 chart.


Meanwhile, Min Heejin was born in 1979 and is 44 years old. She joined SM Entertainment in 2002 as a creative art director and worked there until 2019. Since then, she has transformed into the CBO of HYBE Entertainment and the CEO of ADOR.
